3.2 this week...

Post by Texaporte »

PTR is offline, the patch comes in Wednesday. Guess I'm not getting 1000 emblems of heroism! I'm in favor of still doing Ulduar today, but after 3.2 hits our focus will most likely shift massively.

keep in mind only the first boss of the new raid will be available.

My vote is to extend Ulduar raid IDs by 1 week, which would give us 4 days:
day 1: skip optional bosses, clear up to keepers.
day 2: clear keepers
day 3: work on general/Yogg
day 4: clean up

This would allow ample time to taste the new content.

Wednesday? Wednesday?! Very bizarre!

I have to agree that we could get a lot out of the last part of Ulduar, and some may even want to extend Naxx. Since we can extend a raid instead of needing a cleanup day (Sunday/Monday nights), we could use those for Naxx/OS/EoE.

But what would our schedule be? Badgxxramas/OS Monday, Ulduar Tuesday, Argent Coliseum (AC) early Thursday, more Ulduar after.. repeat with optional extensions?

Wednesday appears to be the European date, or something (based on the forum post coming from the EU side) - I'm downloading the new patch now. We'll see if things change much.

actually... i don't see it anywhere in the patch notes, so it may have been removed.
But i recall an announcement that the raid bosses would be unlocked progressively, with only some (i believe the first) available on patch day. And the later bosses coming in the following weeks.

and wednesday has always been the european patch day, i think.

My laptop's client is already patched. but i can't log in from work :).

I won't be on tonight. Kim and I are going out with Mai Khanh and Gavin.

If past history is any indication, I don't think we should plan on getting anything productive done tonight.

Between people patching, the server going crazy and "Additional instances cannot be launched"...

That's true as far as it goes, but just in case everything seems pretty normal, I'll be on and ready to go.
