Focus Magic doesn't get removed when you change specs, so it's worth it in raids for every mage to have one of their two specs be arcane. Switch to arcane, cast Focus Magic on somebody, switch back.
I suspect this'll get "fixed" pretty quick.

Not necessarily. It was mentioned while it was on the PTR- things like priest Improved Fort and pally blessings. BUT, they did note that any raid-wide buffs that would go away when someone left the raid, would also go away when that person changes spec. The other things, that would persist if someone joined the raid, buffed, and left- those stay even if the person swaps spec.
