Hey,
I just finished my first story arc last night and truly enjoyed the story... but found the rewards lacking. While the rewards were probably fine for an end quest of the level, they really didn't match the storyline at all.
The Smuggler story arc has you chasing down a gangsters lost treasure for last half of it. The quest rewards? 2000 credits and an orange blaster. Seems kind of a let down for 15 levels of build up (you started the treasure hunt when you got your ship). I'm assuming these rewards are about equal to others class first arc quest ends?
I guess WoW suffered from this syndrome a lot in the past. The challenge and reward not matching. Either the challenge was awesomely hard and the reward sucked, or you walked through the challenge and the reward was overly good. They've gotten a lot better at the recently.
Actually this is something different. It was challenging, but there were rewards along the way. I think it was just a build up and failure to deliver. I was supposed to get treasure. Maybe they should have thrown in some epic item called "treasure horde" or something. I understand they have to maintain game balance between all 8 classes.
Maybe I'm expecting too much from a new game... I have spent the last 6 years playing WoW and have come accustom to a certain style of play.
Questing and Rewards

I would be happy with a bunch of boxes and crates in my cargo hold that I could click on that said something about being a mega fortune.
