Computer issues

I'll be back online when I get my computer back in order. I had to replace my motherboard over the weekend and the hard drive really didn't like being put into the new one (it was a Dell operating system so had built in checks against the Dell mobo) so after much kicking and screaming I finally installed Vista.

Jenny and I sympathize. I bought a new laptop for jenny last weekend (a refurb) which turned out to be a piece of crap. Returned it promptly the next day.
She'll try raiding on my laptop, hopefully it won't die when the fireworks start.

I recovered the data I wanted to keep (music etc) so now I can format and start fresh. I'm not looking forward to all the windows etc updates but at least I have a fresh bottle of bourbon and plenty recorded on the DVR to watch
