Star Wars?

Post by Pocky »

Is anyone other than me planning on playing Star Wars: The Old Republic? If so, do we want to form Schadenwalkers or whatever there?

Also, you may want to get your Collector's Edition (if you care) order in soon. It's already sold out on EA's Origin platform.
Tank... and tank some more.

I was planning on playing, and was about to lay down my greens for the collector edition, but BioWare have failed by not providing a Mac client. So...until they do...

Augh. I hadn't thought about that.

I wonder how long it'll be until they make the Mac client.

I know I plan to play it, but I doubt I'll do as much completionism/end-game as with WoW. I mean, already invested that time, kthx. But I'm not sold yet on the Collector's Edition. Like, what goodies are on the CE-exclusive vendor?

I'm with Thunder. I'd love to try it out. I hear wonderful things about it.... but I love my mac more than Star Wars.

I'll pick it up, I have several of my old EQ friends that have been keeping an eye out and want to go Empire. I think it'd be fun to be evil, although I know I'll be disappointed (as I was with SWG) in that I won't be able to make Ewok hide seat covers via trade skills.

I pre-ordered the CE. =x

I think this is the one game that has just about everyone of my gaming friends interested.

I am hoping lots of them will be playing with me. :)

This brings up a good point, relevant to forming a guild there- which side are we going to? Maybe we should poll our interests in characters. Personally, I'd love to re-create my Bothan Smuggler, but as an alternative I may either go Bounty Hunter or Sith.

Unfortunately, bothan isn't a playable race at the moment.

But I'm going smuggler.. scoundrel! A stealthy sneaky healer is just about perfect for me. :)

Yeah, the lack of Bothan is rather disappointing for me. I need to come up with a new concept. =/
