Ok, I have to know. How do you make that graph that shows a buff's uptime?
MM requires me to keep 100% uptime on a 7 second haste buff, and knowing where and when it fell off would be huge.

So after you choose to look at your personal stats, you'll notice it says Details for (player name) at the top but it's under the "Report Info" tab. So you want to click the Buff Details tab. And then the bottom part of the screen you'll be able to select the page to display buff gained or buff cast. There are little clickable # signs to make it display like my green bar. You can add more than one, and they'll show as separate color bars underneath. You can kinda see how good you are at keeping up uptime, and how combinations of multiple buffs were helping you. Maybe it'll also tell you how to time CDs better next time as well.Ustinov wrote:Ok, I have to know. How do you make that graph that shows a buff's uptime?

DPS(e) is Effective DPS. You can do 20k DPS for 5 seconds of a 500-second fight, pull aggro, and die. Your DPS was 20k, yes, but your DPS(e) is prorated over the life of the fight and so you get a DPS(e) value of 200.Eisengrad wrote:What is the difference between DPS and DPS(e)?

I believe this also takes into account when you are not actively dpsing, such as when you are running away from bad stuff.

Doing this for my Wild Growth is obscene and awesome and make it look like an old computer punchcard. Doing it for Rejuvenation is similar but less silly and more informative. Doing it for Lifebloom is very informative and showed me that during the Magmaw win, something went horribly wrong about halfway through...

Yeah, I take full credit for getting people killed there ;_; but now I know just how close I actually have to be on phase changes.Texaporte wrote:The dying was a tank's fault on Magmaw... we'll be better about picking up the worm in the future. You did pretty well, but there's always room for improvement!Norfolk wrote:I need to die a little less and keep a closer eye on Inquisition it looks like.

Do we have the BWD logs?...or did it get lost in the "Great Deletion" of the Conclave of the Winds...
