The gmotd mentioned a sound-off for tab 7, but didn't find one, so here I go.
Not really sure long-term, but for now, we could maybe move the not-perfect cut gems, the enchant scrolls, and green items for denching here?
Tab 5 really is choked with gems, tab 4 with scrolls, and at some point we'd need to just flush the excess, so sorting them out would help.

Make one tab just ore/elementals, and one just gems (cut or not)?

Seeing as gems will probably be needed and they don't stack, keep tab 6 as the ore/volatile tab and make tab 7 the gem tab.
