Is it too late to get Tripping the Rifts or is that available for the duration of all the phases?

Tripping the rifts is all through the pre-cataclysm events. So we should have at least 2 more weeks... >.>

Patch 4.0.3 is expected this week; this may also trigger phase 4 of the pre-cataclysm quests/events. Phase 4, as I remember from the PTR, was elemental attack events on Stormwind and Ironforge. These happen every 2-4 hours, culminating in elemental bosses being available via portals near the AH/Bank (both cities), and the Dungeon Finder tool (like holiday bosses). Interestingly, if you're in either city and no NPCs seem to be available, it's because they got evacuated via portals (which are available to players too) during the event.

Note that this patch is not "The Shattering", which will be patch 4.0.3a. But I'm guessing that will be Nov 30th, giving us 2 weeks to farm the elemental bosses for loot (251's I believe), and 3 weeks till official Cataclysm launch!
