Wow the patch takes forever to apply. I started applying the patch at 10am and it was about 75% done when I left for work 40m later.

It IS 4.76gb....

Also once you install, make sure you have a good chunk of hard drive space. I only had 15gb left on one drive and after a couple of hours of writing data (c'mon, they could have checked HD space before making me sit through 2hours of that!) it failed on space without giving me an option to make room and continue. Freed up 25gb more and it worked after that. Seems it's wanting to have both old wow + new wow on your drive while patching, after it's finished it will ditch the old files. But just be aware that it needs more free space than it will end up using once fully installed.

I discovered the "not enough free space" issue too.

If you happen to have another drive/partition with much more space and want to move your WoW install there, there is an easy solution:
Cut & Paste your entire WoW directory to wherever you want to have it. Run the launcher as administrator, and it will fix the registry to know where the directory lives now. Done!

...I still had an error briefly, tried running repair, that said it couldn't repair, I re-ran the patch, and it finished without errors. Dunno what's up with that, but w/e.

I'm still downloading and Scott started it for me like at 2:30pm or something like that and it is only 49% done ;_; Not that I look forward to having to boomkin way differently now...not to mention heal not in tree form.

I just got slammed into the "not enough disk space" wall. O_o Now I have to either wait to get a bigger HD OR start deleting stuff, I have, but it's only freed up so much.
