How 'bout it? Does anyone have any particular conflicts that weekend, and would out-of-town people be able to get relatively reasonable prices for travel on the long weekend?
Location: Redwood City
Tentative date: Saturday or Sunday, September 4 or 5.

Oohhhhhhh ShadenBBQ! I can finally meet the faces behind the voices! fun fun fun!
I'm currently free either day of Labor Day weekend. Saturday is better than Sunday.
I have a free guest room which is available for anyone coming into town. I live in Campbell which is about 40-45m from Redwood City.

Katy and I will not be able to make it, due to it being a month before her due date. The doctor does not want her in a car for that long.
We will try to come up sooner if we can for a smaller visit, though.

Re: Labor Day SchadenBBQ?
Oop sorry, Google Calendar reminded me I had committed to another Labor day event a long time back. Have fun.
Re: Labor Day SchadenBBQ?
I was really going to try to see if I can make it to this, but my mother's birthday is on the 3rd and she has requested a lavish meal prepared by me.
Darn this filial piety stuff!
Re: Labor Day SchadenBBQ?
That's the weekend before the family trip to Washington DC, so Kim and I will be busy. I hope everyone has a great time though.
Re: Labor Day SchadenBBQ?
Unfortunately, that's a really long drive with 2 kiddos, plus I will have just gotten back from San Diego for an IRS forum, so I don't think we can make this one. Sorry about that
