Shadow Balls and You: An Offtanks Guide to Blood Princes

So you've decided to tank Prince Keleseth. Here are some useful tips for keeping yourself and the rest of your raid alive.

1) During the initial part of the pull be prepared to tank a big chunk of shadow damage off the bat. It's a good idea to blow a cooldown of some sort to mitigate this, since I did it as a DK Anti-Magic Shell was a my cooldown of choice.
2) Generally, he'll keep you on his aggro no matter how far you get away from him, at least I didn't notice any aggro wipe due to distance.
3) and this being the most vital find those god damn purple balls of goodness, known as dark nuclei. During the entire fight you will be playing a frantic game of pac-man with these things and it actually gets harder the more you have on you. They crowd vision so much that it's almost impossible to click target anything with your mouse so you will be doing a lot of tabbing, so make sure you have target of target settings on. Generally speaking one good shot will get a nucleus to you, but if two don't work move on. Occasionally, they will stick to someone and just won't come off, it's better to just concentrate on ones that you can get.
4) Ideally, when he gets empowered you'll have 5+ of these balls on you. Even if you've got tons use a cooldown anyways when he switches, because the timer on them is a bitch. I've walked up to him with 7 and had 2 when the lance was about to hit. When he's empowered the best thing to do is find the highest threat generator you have hit him with it and then run and grab more balls. For me I found that dropping death and decay on him every time it was available seemed to work. You want to tag him as often as feasible, but your priority is get to the balls.
5) During the fight having someone else tag balls that are too far from you and ferrying them over is a godsend, though make sure who ever is tagging balls does not hit them with anything that has a dot on it, because you'll be fighting to get that ball off them.

Other than that you will be spending the entire fight in a state of panic, frantically searching for nuclei.
