Fury Warrs

Post by hung »

Hey gang. I'm thinking on trying fury to change things up. I know we have a couple of dps warrs that tried it, but most stayed with Arms.
Anyone care to share their thoughts?

I know Pocky can pull reasonable fury dps. Was there a large gear investment for it?

The person to ask now is Ervin, but from what I recall, it was mainly a gear issue. Hit, of course, is hugely important, to the point where there seems to be no such thing as "too much hit" (though I still try to aim for 8%, despite the white damage bonus).

I mainly went with Fury, even when my gear sucked, because I like the idea of swinging two two-handed weapons. >.>;

I misread that as "Furry Wars", and assumed that Blizzard had finally outdone themselves and catered to the lowest (un)common denominator.

Okay good, I wasn't the only one.

Wait, scratch that, it's still not good.

Fired. Both of you.

As for Fury vs. Arms, yes - the gear required is pretty insane, since you need twice the number of good weapons as everyone else (Ervin is content with two 232s as opposed to one 245, though he certainly wouldn't scoff at Justicebringer) and your hit and arpen are fighting against each other. But the rewards are pretty big overall.

This is very true. I haven't checked my set recently, but my ArPen is around 55%, I think, while my hit is 8% (after Draenei bonus).

I think I'd be happy if I could replace one of my weapons with the Obsidian Edged Blade, for some Expertise, but otherwise, I think I'm in a good place.

Man, I read this as "Fixed. Both of you." and I was happy that there would be no little Andys or Avris running around =P

Now I'm disappointed ;_;

No no, that's next expansion. And don't worry, it will only be foxy wolves. Yiff! :twisted:
