good healadin guide

Post by hung »

I'm pretty sure all our healadins are up to snuff (actually all our healers are rock stars~!). But after healing a heroic on Ama, who had not healed anything since .... uhhhh.... karazhan/zul'aman? Well I found the following guide to holydins.

http://www.nerfthisdruid.com/2009/06/pa ... g-101.html
Note: its a bit outdated (doesn't have latest changes to bacon), but its still good.

Note2: Amarillian will remain an (rarely used) alt, but his main spec will now be Holy (second: Ret). Current holy gear level is heroic~naxx.

Yay Kanon got good heals from Amarillian at HoS last night.
Yay we both didn't suck :D

Due to lack of tanking in the past week and a half, I was scared to charge though for some reason O_o Had trouble trying to manage heroic throw & charge for some other reason O_o I think I need a mouseover macro to heroic throw so I can just target the one I need to charge instead of click target, throw, click another target, charge. It's too slow -_-

I use a charge macro bound to a mouse key. Charge macro allows charge + intercept + intervene, with one button. Tankingtips had a post on it a while back.

And HoS has some of the most annoying caster mob placement out of all heroics. don't fret, its not 'fear of charge', its 'planning the pull'.
As you said: we didn't suck. I'd say more, we kicked ass. A 'didn't suck' team does not get achievements.

I have the same macro to charge/intercept/intervene on one key.
The only issue was that when i had to switch between heroic throw on target A and then charge target B, my mouse click to switch target is too slow -_-
Wish we got the slimes achievement at the end tho.
