Hello folks!

For tonight's raid, we're looking for an average iLevel of 630 minimum (the number on the left of the "/"). Last week was our first time in, so we didn't have a minimum beyond "heroic ready (610)", but now we know how hard things hit in there.

If you're not at 630 at least by 8:30 tonight, let us know and we can try to get you geared up for Thursday or next week.

Also, please remember to enchant your gear (weapons, rings, cloaks, necklace) and bring 2-3 spec appropriate flasks.

Thanks!

Sounds good (I was one of the people pushing for this, so feel free to blame me if it bugs you)! As we learned from our attempts at Brackenspore last week, the gear check curve increases dramatically from Kargath to The Butcher and beyond. If anyone needs help grinding heroics for gear, speak up and we'll get some 5-man carnage going!

I was also one of the people who pushed for this, mostly because as an officer of WA I have a duty to sooth the savage beasts I call my guildies/co-workers.

Early in raiding it's very difficult to succeed even with a few people who are undergeared. While exceptions could be made for DPS, it is vital for tanks and heals to come with at least 630 ilvl. The hits are just so painful right now, along with healers having to be conservative on mana, etc. It's rough for the first few weeks until we get into the swing of things.

Agree - content like this needs a bar set to reduce the frustration factor. It's work enough just learning the fights.

iLevel 622 and climbing...
