So, what I've learned so far from the community (raid/dungeons, MrRobot, Icy-Veins) and from test-and-trial (and deaths) for Affliction Warlocks.
:::::::: Stats Priority ::::::::
Intellect > Mastery Rating > Haste Rating > Hit Rating (up to 15%) > Critical Strike
*Keep in mind of the breakpoints for Haste (extra tick and lower GCD)
:::::::: Rotations and rule of thumbs ::::::::
1. Don't add each DoT manually at the start of a fight because it will waste time. Instead, use the Soul Burn + Soul Swap combo to apply all DoTs at once.
2. Mind your DoTs timer and don't be afraid of applying them a bit early (reason: extended DoT time on the new one)
- Unstable Affliction is 14 seconds
- Corruption is 18 seconds
- Agony is 24 seconds
- Haunt (uses a Soul Shard) is 8 seconds
3. Don't forget about applying your Curses!
- Curse of the Elements should always be on bosses or trash that takes a while to die.
There's no set rotation but here's my rule of thumbs.
1. Start off with Soul Burn + Soul Swap combo to apply all DoTs at once.
2. If it is a boss, follow up by casting Curse of the Elements.
3. Cast Dark Soul: Misery
4. Cast Haunt
5. Cast Malefic Grasp
At this point... you'll be dancing around with your DoTs and Haunt (if soul shards are available). Keep in mind the timers (see above). For starters, I typically apply Unstable Affliction right after the first Malefic Grasp followed by 2 cast of Malefic Grasp and then reapply Corruption.
6. Cast Drain Soul instead of Malefic Grasp when the target is below 20% health. This will also refill all your shards.

:::::::: Talents ::::::::
*Please keep in mind that I use "Grimoire of Sacrifice[/b]" which means that the other talents will not include Pet enhancing talents.
Tier 1: Soul Leech, Your Shadow Bolt, Soul Fire, Fel Flame, Chaos Bolt, Touch of Chaos, Incinerate, Haunt, Drain Soul and Malefic Grasp spells heal you and your pet for a 10% of the damage dealt.
Reason for this pick: Heal as you DPS, Dark Regeneration can be useful as well.
Tier 2: Mortal Coil, Causes the enemy target to run in horror for 3 sec. The caster restores 15% of their maximum health.
Reason for this pick: You heal for 15% of your max health even if you can't really fear them.
Tier 3: Dark Bargain, Prevents all damage for 8 sec. When the shield fades, 50% of the damage prevented is dealt over 8 sec.
Reason for this pick: The other two talents utilizes your pet, which you will not have with this build.
Tier 4: Unbound Will, Purge all Magic effects, movement impairing effects and all effects which cause loss of control of your character. (Cost 20% of your base hit points)
Reason for this pick: Another get-out-of-stun or mc option, but you will most likely use this sparingly. As affliction, you will get a +50% bonus damage to Malefic Grasp, Drain Soul, Haunt, and Fel Fire.
Tier 5: Grimoire of Sacrifice, You sacrifice your demon to gain one of its abilities, increase the power of many of your single target spells by (Affliction 50%; Demonology 30%; Destruction 25%) and regenerate 2% of maximum health every 5 sec. Lasts for 1 hour.

- If you sacrifice your Felhunter you will get Spell Lock: Silences the enemy for 3 sec. If used on a casting target, it will counter the enemy's spellcast, preventing any spell from that school of magic from being cast for 6 sec.
Tier 6: Kil'Jaeden's Cunning, You can cast and channel while moving, but each cast reduces your movement speed by 15%, stacking up to 2 times.
