No registration code?

Apparently, some copies of the game don't have a registration code.
Has anyone run into this yet? I haven't opened my copy yet, but I'll check as soon as I can.

Mine was fine. It seems like a rare problem, so I imagine it was a small wave of it, essentially one "segment" of a print run.
