Launcher Problems

Anyone else having Launcher problems? I run the Launcher, click on PLAY, and then the Launcher disappears, but no game loads. I've seen lots of forum posts about this, but no fix that I could see (I waded through 5 pages of stuff before stopping).
I *can* run Wow.exe directly from my WOW folder, but not every time.
