[Week 2] DPS Rankings, late edition

Welcome to this weeks power rankings! It is very late for no specific reason! The Schadenfreude writing team was hard at work on this week's blurbs (I am not part of the the writing team).

I have added some more columns and they should be pretty self explanatory. A new feature I've added is the color coding depending on their DPS on the encounter. The characters highlighted in green are the ones who pulled their weight in the encounter. The characters highlighted in red are those that did not meet the minimum DPS requirements to beat the encounter. The Schadenfreude accounting division (I am actually part of this one) calculated the amount of DPS an individual DPS needs to be able to pull their weight in the encounter. We divided the total health of the mob by the enrage timer to get the required total DPS. Dividing that by the number of likely DPS (in a 25 man encounter it's 17), and we got 12,631 DPS. I did not take into account tank DPS. Their DPS is certainly a factor in encounters, but if we need to rely on tank DPS to defeat an encounter, welp, our DPS need to pick it up.

Also pay special attention to the delta and delta percentage. We have about 5 people who made massive leaps in their DPS in the 2 weeks between Bradavon encounters, which makes this old Death Knight quite happy.

There are also some miscellaneous stats that I've added such as standard deviation. This really tells us nothing because we don't have enough data points or a regular curve. But it's interesting to see anyway.

My agent has coached me to say that having a slight dps increase, though comparable to the previous week, can hardly be called an "uncharacteristic performance." But I ain't trippin', and I'ma let'chu finish, but first I gotta say, wud'n my fault, I was face down from a foul li' t'ree times last week!

*cough* Nono, seriously, this is good stuff and I approve. But yeah, I guess I'll focus on upping my game a little, and waiting on the official call to "wipe it" before sprinting out of the instance. >.>;

argh need more heroics I'll try to season myself more so I am spicy laser chicken next time. Though, I did listen and checked out elitist jerks and adjusted some gems and enchants as well as did some reforging and re-speccing. I guess I'll have to show up earlier next week or Thursday to see if my DPS went up any. :)

Btw, nice comment! :)

DevCo expects low scores again this week with a significant boost next week or the week following as the class gets a much-needed adjustment and ret. stops being the one everyone's poking fun at. AGAIN.
