This is your friendly reminder. We're all in this together, and we want to make sure people are carrying their own weight. We've made some pretty big strides in that regard over the last time we did the DPS Power Rankings, but there is still a lot of very easy work that can be done.
1) Do a little homework.
It is trivial to ask for help or look on elitistjerks.com to see what you should be doing with your stats. Paul asks in guild all the time about what is the best thing for him to do, and he has gone from doing 4k damage in heroics to doing 8k in the space of a week. Chuck, Terry, Andy, John, and Anju share tips and info all the time about healing. Einzel has gone from "how do i shot rogue" to high-damage star in the space of two weeks. The help is there, it takes 5 minutes, and it helps everyone, not just you.
2) Look at your spec
It is trivial to ask for help or look on elitistjerks.com and see what you should be doing with your spec. It's 33 gold to respec at max level. If you are really tight on gold, the guild bank has money that we can use to help you respec.
3) Enchant and gem your gear for raiding
Icyhawt was asked to leave a raid for wearing PvP gear in a raid setting and having his PvE gear ungemmed and unenchanted; it was clear that he didn't care about helping the team win, he cared about showing up and collecting his lewt. That is not the attitude we are looking for. Enchants are free in the GB. Devilbringer carries 120 blue gems at all times. Take advantage of these free services and be all you can be!
