Pet's procured.
The moonkin is adorable. He flaps around. He arrives in your mailbox as a egg. You open the egg and the moonkin is in it. Nice touch.
Rag is neat. He says something unintelligible when he pops out. He's funny because he's taller than gnomes and dwarves. He's cool because he'll stay in one place as you walk away and then descend into the earth and pop out where you now are.
All in all very cool new pets.

Lil' Rags also counts as a cooking fire!
I hear that the moonkins will plant flowers and /dance with people (the same way the Pandaren Monk would /bow)

Look what Rag's been reduced to... No more being cranky for being woken up too early and taking his wrath out on people. No more striking fear into their hearts.... No more guilds will ever be shattered by Rag's hammer...
Now two denizens of Azeroth snuggle up on a chilly night and use him to roast marshmellows. "Look Honey, Our camp fire is snarling."

I'm pretty sure Rag's is coming back and taking revenge... Geddon (DAMN YOU!
) is in the starting area in Hyjal... all 50 million hitpoints of him too.
