Though troubling, this might not be cause for alarm. I won't be slacking on ZG runs anymore though, but two things: First, he language of the statement that it's going away "as a raid instance" means it's not entirely going away. Second, some other posters have said that some STV quest chains involve a captured raptor that fails to escape from ZG, quest-giver hinting that it might be freed later. Additionally, some quests apparently do involve ZG as some kind of group questing zone(?) which is still accessed via portals.

I don't know what that means, much less about the mounts. Allegedly they had said they weren't removing any more mounts from the game.. allegedly.

Well that will make it easier to "excavate" Troll artifacts, than having to form a raid for them...

I believe it's pretty soloable for all tank classes.
