Shaman Healing GC post

I saw this on MMO champion today:

http://blue.mmo-champion.com/t/26435494 ... ing-model/

After reading this, I believe Ghostcrawler is saying that shaman healers cast lesser healing wave or greater healing wave and chain heal situationally today in WotLK.

Umm so either
A) I heal unconventionally or
B) he's totally confused in how shaman heal.

I use Chain Heal as my goto heal and LHW or GHW situationally.
LHW when you need a fast bang bang bang heal
GHW when you need a big heal
but most often you want a medium heal and if it chains to other people, so much the better.

Or am I reading the GC post incorrectly?

Current shaman healing theory has you crank your haste as high as your mana pool/mp5 can keep up with and spam LHW, using CH as a riptide/nature's swiftness/CH emergency combo. That's what it was back in ToC, at least.
