The Malygos fight could be quite demoralizing when we failed too many times. The very first time we tried it, we tried 14 times and failed every single time. But at least we made it to phase 3 but died horribly. This time we couldn't even made it past the 2nd vortex in phase 1, so I think we were just not the right group for it and there are many things we can take home from it. Actually the data from Maly's Try 4 looked a little promising.
Please add to how we should improve for Maly10. I'm thinking the following:
1. we need more healers - 2 was not enough.
2. better position and management of power sparks. This is the first time our DKs were managing the sparks. It just takes practice. This is the WWS log of who was benefiting the effects of power sparks:

Not surprised that the DKs were getting them the most, since they're the ones charged with spark duties. Unless the WWS log was double-counting for the DKs, it seems that either the sparks were not killed at the right positions, or simply we all just needed to bunch up in the center in order to benefit from the sparks. Or, we might need DKs to deathgrip the sparks to the right spot but maybe someone else should be in charge of killing them? I'm not entirely sure, since I'm usually not on sparks duty...
3. Again, DPS needed to bunch up. Maly has a super big hit box, so melee DPS should be DPSing from the largest distance from him while still be swimming in the spark. And I'm not saying we aren't already. DPS 2K unbuffed, like Dom said, was the minimum requirement for being at the maly fight. Correct me if i'm wrong but I think we need something in the neighborhood of 3.5K (buffed by *stacked* sparks) in order to kill Maly timely.
4. Flip side of the coin, tank needs to realize Maly has a large hit box and therefore need not be too close to the center. A couple of times, spark hits Maly as soon as it slips to melee range (but i think that was towards the end when moral was already low).
5. More buff in HP: food, fish feast, whatever we can use, we should bring them. Need to have at least 16K unbuffed health or else can't survive vortex. The more HP the better
That's all I could think of regarding last night. Anything else anyone wanna add as far as phase 1...?
