Random wishlist for new players/alts

I'm just wondering, if we were to find a new person for our guild, or someone decided it was time to roll a new main, what race/class/builds would we most like to see.
I know we've kinda had a shaman shortage recently in our raids, and a full time warlock would be cool. Anything other people would like to see running around with us?

Here's the tricky thing: the guild landscape can change quite a bit by the time a new character has been leveled/geared.
When I started we had tons of rogues and locks. and we were short paladins. so i rolled Amarillian. By the time he was ready to raid, we had karazhan groups that were 50% pink~!
That said... if we were to 'recruit' a new toon, I'd love to see more blues and purples in the guild tab.

I haven't seen Dengeki in quite a while now that I am thinking of it. Is Lars on vacation?

I saw him hopped on a couple of times last week but for very short periods of time.
We have not had any DPS shamans since Karaghosis went quiet and now Dengeki as well.
Chayin is at level 78 last I remembered, but I believe he is going to be resto. And then there's Bluesweetie, which is of course another one of Andy's level 80 alts.

Fractor hasn't been playing in a while, and he is resto. He seems like he might be willing to come back though; I wonder if he would like to be an Elementalist...
Okay okay, I just want to get some friggen heroism going for burn cycles dangit.

I have had other random gaming/social stuff going on Tuesday/Thursday nights. I would make more of an effort to be on for raids if we were getting close to 25 people, but I figure with 10 man raids there will be somebody else willing to go in the same slot.

Sadly, I do not foresee Schaden heading into 25 mans any time in the immediate future. Moreover, we sometimes have a hard time working up the numbers for 10 mans, especially thursdays. This is especially challenging since that ends up being the progression night (with Tues being the more 'farmed' ulduar bosses).

We had almost 25 the first night we did Ulduar I think, but then I assume people realized that there were hard fights (unlike WOTLK's Naxx) and apparently decided not to come...

Personally I most enjoy learning new fights... it is not nearly as interesting for me when bosses are on farm. This is partially why I was getting so frustrated a few weeks back when I was consistently signing up for raids but still was finding myself sitting out and missing the fun.
It is a bit of a moot point for me now given conflicts on Tues/Thurs, but I admit had got me to the point of not wanting to bother signing up and getting my hopes up and then having to sit out again.
Yes, people were kind enough to offer to sit out to find a place for me, but it was always an after-the-raid-had-formed kind of situation.
It seems to me that in addition to loot rules, the guild needs a set of criteria for raid attendance in order to avoid issues around who gets in or not.
So for example, the raid needs 2 healers and 3 sign-up and log on. Well then you would look at who had signed up previously and had to sit out, they would automatically get a spot. If more than 1 person meets that critera there is a roll-off, and the loser gets an auto-spot next time. You could also have something about timeliness... reward those peeps who sign-up on time vs. showing up late.
The downside is it adds an extra layer of admin which is a pain, but at least would provide clarity to what otherwise seems like an arbitrary situation.

Back to the original post about shamans... I completely forgot my alt Taiga cuz it still doesn't seem like my alt.
As far as 10 vs 25, it seems that Schad is more of a 10-man guild still... At least for the time being.
As for people having signed up but was not invited to the raid, I think we really should invite everyone into the raid first at the start, and then simply do a roll off based on roles needed. But that's kinda going off-topic.
