What will you spec when dual-spec finally comes out?

Just want to know what you're thinking of specc'ing if and when dual-spec finally comes out...

For me, I've never played any other type of rogues before except as a PvE combat rogue with Close-quarter and/or Swords spec. But I'd like to try deep subtlety, simply because it seems to be a not-so-common build and I want to see what it can do in a raid environment...

Tex is going to be both protection and bacon, while Mdlife will probably go with Affliction for PvE and have a PvP spec for the heck of it.

It goes without saying that I will be a bear and a tree. I'm already swapping back and forth between the same two specs as it is.

I will be spec'ed as full mutilate for PVE and muti/prep for PVP. I'm really starting to enjoy the subtle intricacies of running an effective mutilate fight (minus the PITA of having to constantly pump HfB). In the past I've been pure combat, combat/ass hybrid, backstab/ass and subtlety. However, I have not messed with subtlety since shadow dance so I may have to play with that as a PVP spec at some point.

Salessa is going to remain Protection, with Fury as her second spec for when she's not needed to tank in a raid. I won't be playing Salessa as Fury unless there's a major need for it, though. (I'm not so fond of being melee DPS...)

Kohran is going to be Survival, which was her original spec when I made her, and Beast Mastery for solo farming and such.

Norfolk is going to remain Retribution. I've really enjoyed the change and it's helped me stay back in the game.

Off-spec I'll probably go Protection since I'm pretty familiar with it.

Much like the other paladins that love groups, I'm gonna be Protection main and Holy secondary. I will be the king of every group I am a part of, and none will be safe from my prima donna whining.

I'll probably stick with Blood/Unholy DPS for PVE and i'll go Frost/Unholy for the peeveepee.

For Cazi, I'll certainly stay arcane for main spec, since I'm really enjoying it. I thought I might actually try out PvP (Cazi currently has *one* honorable kill). Any people experienced with mages in PvP? I assume frost is the preferred spec. Do I really need resilience gear, or will I die so fast once I start getting hit that it's not worth the dps trade off? On a related note, how about scheduling a guild battleground night?

For my "major" alts: Hanth Shadow/Holy. Rila Prot/Ret. Trini Beastmaster/Survival.

I have a horde mage, still 70, frost spec, mostly solo and pvp. I think I've done instances with the guy 5 or less times, and most of that was levelling to 40. For PvP, I've heard some things, but from experience I see everything. Arcane barrage was the latest fad flavor on account of it being stupid high damage, though I think that was nerfed recently. PoM-Pyro I hear is still fun, nevermind all the other fancy fire spells. And frost, from personal experience, still has it's effectiveness.

I once got an HK on a rogue while oom by stabbing him repeatedly with my spell dagger. He was a keyboarder.

If you wanna try pvp, I'd say go in with your current spec, something you know how to play, and for dual-spec just adjust it based on your experiences, maybe somewhere after 1000 kills and having been through every BG. =)
