I think we all (ok, not all of us, and some more than others) made some mistakes last night that can easily be rectified. Speaking only for DPS:
1. Don't worry about your damage as much as other fights. Worry primarily about keeping yourself alive. This means 2 things: a) learning how to watch for Lava Walls from either side, and learning where that safe spot is for either direction and b) watching out for Void Zones (esp for melee, but true for range as well).
2. The above statement is true except for once in the fight - after the first Drake comes down and the tank picks him up, we will get our first Lava Wave. This happens at basically the same point every time. Don't feel like you have to jump right in on the Drake at this point. Make sure you are clear of the Lava Wall. As soon as the first Lava Wave passes (and since you were totally waiting for it, you didn't get hit by it), then we burn down that drake as fast as possible. Pop Heroism. Pop Rapid Fire, Mirror Image, every trinket, etc. Save your cooldowns for this moment. If they are macroed, unmacro them for this fight. We should be able to get him close to death by the next Lava Wave. This is the critical point of the fight in some ways. If we all survive this next Lava Wave, we should have a good chance, since a) we will then kill the first Drake shortly thereafter, b) we will then clear the little mobs in quick order and c) have a few moments to get into our new position for Drake #2.
3. Drake #2 is a little different. It's a steady fight without any need to burst at any point. The only thing that is different is your position. Range should try to move closer to the middle of the platform so they can jump in the portal as soon as it is up. That's the most important thing about this phase: getting in the portal asap. If we get in the portal, our healers will make it and so will we. I think we decided that we do kinda need a pseudo-tank and a pseudo-healer inside the portal. That means Mufhintop (or whomever) needs to really anticipate the portals well and get in there first to start getting threat.
If we do these things, I don't see why we can't kill that 2nd Drake with ease and once that's done, it's easy street. Maybe tanks, healers or melee dps have some other suggestions.
