I might be in for the get together, depending on the day and time. Saturday is my eldest daughter's birthday and we will be doing her annual party-at-the-park-with-a-big-bounce-house-for-all-the-kids-and-some-adults. But we might be able to make dinner somewhere. And I am down for Chinese myself.

So, Avri, Andy and I are traveling down on 21st, doing the 22nd & 23rd at the con, then 24-26th at Disneyland, if other people were interested in joining us. I know the 26th is Dom/Andy's birthday, so Dom is planning on being there as well. the 27th we'll be driving back up. That's the gameplan for us.

24th & 25th at Disneyland, leaving the 26th, just to keep people posted on our plans, in case any other guildies want to get in on the mouse.

For those of the local Silicon Valley people who aren't going down to Blizzcon, I'm going to be getting a virtual ticket and hosting a get together with some local wow friends. I don't have DirecTV, but I plan to hook a computer up to my TV and show the internet feed there. If anyone wants to come over, I'd be happy to have you.
I think most people are heading down to the convention, so I don't expect many will come =]
I'll know more when plans firm up closer to the event. I'll post more if there is interest when plans firm up.

Okay, we are coming much closer to Blizzcon, so I will ask anew:
Who is up for meeting for dinner on one of the two nights of Blizzcon? And if you are, do you have a preference for which night? Finally, do you have any preferences (for or against) for any particular type of cuisine. We will NOT be going back to the Mongolian barbecue we went to last year.
Also, if people would like to see Katy, send me an IM, please. She won't be able to make it to the dinner, since she will be busy with the baby by then.

I think I'm on the "unlikely to make to dinner" boat... but I'm sure I'll see some of you in Blizzcon.

Friday the 22nd, Sandahl & other friends of <The Marauding Legion> (including Patrick Seitz, voice actor for Arthas and it turns out Garrosh too) will be going for Ethiopian in Anaheim (only a few miles from the con). I've hung out with them and dined there before, it would be fun & friendly, and I'm sure they'd welcome us too.
So if people don't mind Ethiopian on Friday, and a chance to meet new people, I propose this event.

If any of you were planning on joining us as Disneyland on the 25th, please let me know ASAP. There are certain.
... plans that need to be made that require a full head count.

I was planning to do the Disneyland thing, I just need to clear it with work. I don't foresee any issues though.
