Just call blizzard customer service and they just need to verify you are who you are (find your original wow cd key prior to calling them), and they can detach it for you.

I had to wait until I could call them during the morning hours. When I tried calling them after work I was on hold for over an hour and a half when the automated message said it was only a 30 to 45 minute wait time. All fixed this morning though.
