And light side/dark side doesn't matter for faction. You can be a super light side Sith... which seems weird, but there you go.

...And since my application, with the class selection of "unknown", I think I decided that my Republic character will be a Jedi Consular > Shadow. No real surprise, I know... and I'll probably roll a Smuggler sometime, though I may wait till I can get a Bothan. >.>

Ok, so...

My old SWG friends want to merge with us. I figured I should run it by everyone to see if there were any objections or concerns.

I haven't played with them for quite a few years, but from what I know, they are good peoples with play styles similar to us. They are not looking for a hardcore gaming experience... just a drama-free guild to hang out, idle chit chat, and help each other to make their swtor gaming experience a bit easier.

Some of them know each other irl and stuff, so they definitely won't be jackasses. They are all around 30s - 40s age wise, have jobs/families, and they live along the west coast in either CA or Washington. I've met a few of them back when they had the SWG fanfests down here.

There's probably a dozen or so of them formed right now in another guild, but they thought a consolidation would be a better idea to widen the player base. The more the merrier?

I was just going to put a character in their guild, but having everyone all under one roof would be more ideal for me. =d

Do we know when the guild process will determine what server we're on?

Also, I'll create ScumNVillainy (for Sith) during the Preorder login stuff, unless someone else wants to create it - it sort of depends on when we get in on preorder. (Theoretically, they should be the Adversaries for FX.)

Works for me too. Not sure how many people are giving swtor a try but it'd be nice to have enough for raid content, assuming there will be any.
