Cataclysm release date confirmed

Over-under on how many times I will tank the first instance of the xpac on day 1? On day 1 of Lich King, I tanked Utgarde Keep 7 times. Or was it 8?

This is kinda hard, because that was before the Dungeon Finder. So now, we'll be able to run the first set of instances from the convenience of wherever. With so much good new stuff, I think that no one dungeon will see over 7. If we hit 'random' enough times, you might see that first one a lot... Let's find out how many Cataclysm Normal dungeons are open to us at 80, then I might better say.

Myself, I'm planning to spend a lot of time in the field with my surveying gear and fedora.

I am unlikely to be taking time off. I did not when LK launched.

I'd sure like to take time off, but December is looking rather busy at work - proposals due, conference in Taiwan (which should be really fun, especially since I haven't been there before), and I volunteered to be on an NSF proposal review panal. We get Christmas to New Year off though, so I'll be around then.
