Anyone available tonight for a TK run? Need Moar Phoenix Mounts? I'd be willing to farm TK, though I think I need a refresher on some of the fights....been a long time. I did all of them, cept for Kael'thas.

You can run straight* to KT.

*(you still need to clear some trash packs, which can still kill people with whirlwinds if you're not careful)

I'm up for a KT run tonight.

The sad thing about the KT fight is that you have to downgrade your weapons to the legendaries for the fight. The fight mechanics require you to use the 'on use' abilities to avoid things like the confusion affect of the conflagration.

Now I suspect the shield for the tank is less of an issue... the 60k fireball is partially or mostly resisted anyways.

Looks like I can ignore... it's the http://www.wowhead.com/item=30313 is the dps staff which matters.

For Cata, anyone know the cost of 280% speed? Or are they taking it out and replacing it with 310%?

280 is your basic epic flyer. To "upgrade" and fly at 310 will cost 5000g.

So in other words, 280% will still cost 5000g? Or less?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they reduce the cost of 280% to 1000g?

Thanks Dom, exactly the info I'm looking for...not gonna buy epic flying on Kelthuzzad if it's that much cheaper in Cata. Hopefully it's true, so I can save some g's for other stuff.

You can rep it down to 4k, but it defaults at 5 still.

Unless it's changed since my last level 80 which is possible and would make me very sad i didn't wait.

Not sure you can even rep it down; though already known, it still shows as costing 5000g for me.

I should clarify that what we have been calling 'flight' and 'epic flight' are Expert (250) and Artisan Riding (5000), and the new level in Cataclysm is likely called Master Riding, set to cost another 5000.
