That's probably because of the two downloads that were available last week and two weeks ago, and today we're getting the last portion.

That the servers come up is one thing. That it's a smooth day come raid time is another. InstanceSrvr has feathers.

Well, 11am has come and gone. I don't think Blizzard has ever launched a patch on time on patch day... EVER. Getting a little scared about tonight now. Daewen might be right...

I think some of us are going to stick with the five man stuff for now. >.>;

That they have never launched a patch on time on patch day, nor ever had a smooth trouble-free time afterwards, in five years, is exactly why I have my position. It's not just to be a nay-sayer, it's historical data.

Patch is done but the login server is slammed. I'm anticipating the same will apply to the instance servers etc. Ulduar all over again

Yep. I put in my authenticator code, pick Uldum, it tries to connect, and then immediately disconnects me. FUN.

I'm experiencing the DCing and not even getting to the character screen...so, can we say BORKED? Yes, I knew you could.

Got lucky and logged in before the login server died a horrible death and even then it took me ten minutes at the loading screen.

So far the instance server seems okay. Poked around inside for a sec. Lag seems tolerable. I'm sure it'll change later tonight though.

Yeah, I used up a Pet renaming scroll just for the occasion.

It's been my experience so far that the integrated downloader almost never works for me for major content patches; probably gonna have to manual DL it when I get back.
