Unfortunately, this is going around most of the wow sites. It's from the ads. Basically, every site that allows remotely hosted ads is susceptible. It's been seen on thottbot, wowhead, and the EJ forums. There was even one reported on Bliz's own forums, but I couldn't confirm it.
What the advertisers do is get a clean ad approved by the site, and then switch the ad to malware later.
Keep your computer up to date on security patches.
Use anti-virus software.
Use non-standard OSes and browsers - Windows and IE are the primary targets for malware.
Use ad blockers.
Get an autheticator.
