A note about my absence

Hey guys,

Sorry I haven't been on at all lately. My life has gotten really, REALLY busy of late, with work ramping up due to the holiday season and a lot of other stuff going on. It kinda caught me off guard, so I didn't really have a chance to say much of anything. In the middle of this, my WoW ...

Re: Feng and further progression

I respecced Assassination since I got two daggers off of Stone Guard, which according to my meters has made my DPS go up significantly.

As far as Gara'jal goes, I wasn't there for our attempts, but from what I've seen in strategy videos, maximizing DPS seems to involve good coordination concerning ...

Hurricane Sandy

Hey all,

Since I'm on the east coast, I'm potentially in the path of this news headline. I'm far enough away from the coast that it shouldn't be a major issue, but there might well still be power outages and such, and even if my house is fine I might be helping friends.

So if I'm not on for ...

Re: Log Dumping thread

Ah, so this is what you guys were talking about. Very nice.

If I'm reading this right, almost half of all the damage I took over all 10 tries last night was from Jasper Chains. Not that surprising, really. I suppose it bodes well for when Jasper's not in play. :P

Re: Raiding in Mists of Pandaria

Oh god, Devastating Combo. That move kicked my ass when I did Will of the Emperor on LFR. It's hard for me to see the arcs indicating where it's going to strike, I need to find a way to work that out.

Re: Raiding in Mists of Pandaria

Elegon you have to at least learn the basic idea of the fight, or you die when the floor opens up. :P

Will of the Emperor and Gara'jal aren't too bad either. Stone Guard, Feng, and Spirit Kings are all definitely zerg fests in LFR though. :(

Re: Raiding in Mists of Pandaria

The 5th boss is the real test, he's the most technical boss in the instance IMO. His LFR version isn't that bad, but if your group wipes more than once or twice(assuming someone explains the fight at all), I recommend leaving immediately, because they're very bad.

Re: Mogu'shan Vaults lessons learned

I'm having fun. :P

I enjoyed Stone Guard as a boss, though the tanks have to do most of the work--everyone else just has to follow the two most basic commandments of "don't stand in the sparkles" and "do your job". Now that we've beaten it once, I imagine it won't be too much of a problem in the ...
